I am just on week two of the diet as well. I recommend not weighing everyday. Trust that it’s working. I started the week before my period and still lost 4.2 that week. I weigh on the morning of my cheat day because I can’t face it the day after. If you’re doing the diet, it works. Hang in there.

    • Emily – Thanks so much for your nice comment. I had a rough day today but did stick to the diet and am looking forward to my 10pm 1/2 glass of red wine like nobody’s business today. I think because historically I have failed on every diet I have tried in my 42 years that I have a hard time trusting that its working. But so many people have said the same thing that there must be something to it. So I will do my best to take the leap. Thanks again.

I’m on Day One and just found your blog, so I’ll be following along right with you and occasionally commenting. Reading your first posts was weird, as in I could have written them myself. I have no conception of myself as fat and when I get dressed and look in the mirror, I think, “Well, that’s not so bad.” The underwear photos were very revealing (!). It’s the side view that was an eye-opener. Got to get rid of that stomach hanging out. I haven’t dieted in years, so this is going to be interesting. I’ve got my husband on board as he does half the cooking, but I don’t think he’ll be eating on plan when he’s not with me. I’m not up for starting a blog of my own, but I’ll pop into the Four Hour Body Participants page on Facebook every once in a while.

    • Thanks for joining me on this journey. I hope that we can help each other through. I have liked the Four Hour Participants page on FB alot. People are very responsive and supportive. They answer questions quickly and some of them seem so enthusiastic about this diet that I can’t help but think it works. I was down almost 4 pds until my first cheat day. Not so bad for week 1.

I look forward to dieting with you. Here’s to us both losing 20 pounds at least by Thanksgiving!

Tracking a journey is no doubt an excellent way to succeed.

  4. I am doing the same thing. I can’t stand people walking up to me and asking me, “How far along are you?” Good luck on your journey I know I need it.
